Paul the medium was picking up on many spirits that was around the area.
He was coming out with dates and names, which according to Tony Liddell(Founder of the former NCPS northern preternatural studies now Otherworld North East and author of Otherworld North East- Ghosts and Hauntings Explored) was very accurate.
From the beach we worked our way up to the decking, just outside of the building

There were numerous light anomalies caught on camera, and a couple on video that cannot be explained by the usual theory of dust, pollen, moisture and flying insects, the most interesting of these being caught in the Great Hall - though notably Paul Sandbach pointing at the steps in the Garrison Room saying to take a photo as there was a spirit there and the resulting photo producing an orb is also significant.

My first question "so is this place haunted" must of been a question he had heard a thousand times, but the short answer was "yes", Paul was really interesting to talk to, I could of asked him questions all night, but everybody was trying to get his attention so he had to leave. the fact that Paul had so much time for me, and I could spend all night talking to that guy, it might sound like im sucking up a bit here but I find him really interesting.

Picking up vibes - Tyneside Cinema
Enter medium Paul Sandbach, who having no (and I mean, NO) previous knowledge about the building, managed to pace its ancient floors and reel off the historic functions of the place and list the people who were associated with it.
All information he provided was confirmed by historian Tracy Teasdale - a feat as amazing as it was worrying. This certainly set the tone for the evening.

Hello to everybody at Ghosthaunted hope your keeping busy. i just dropped in to say thanks for letting me attend the last ghost hunt at the grotto in north shields i am absolutely fascinated in the paranormal and would love (if possible) to attend again...and again! i thought Paul the psychic medium was great and was amazed by what he was saying.

Well what can I say but it was a fantastic night at The Old Hall in Sandbach, Cheshire!!!!
The evening started with the Ghost Haunted North East team introducing them selves.There was about 20 people all together including 2 mediums one of which was Paul Sandbach a terrific spirit medium.
Paul accompanied us along with his wife. Room 11 is reportadly the most haunted room in the hotel were many stange events have taken place so I was rather nervouse. Once the lights were switched off the medium detected 2 presences in the room 1 of which was right behind me OMG!. I moved sharpish to the other side of the room and the took a few pics covered in orbs . My partner who was sat in the corner of the room began to feel red hot and felt something touch the top of her head, the medium then picked up on one of the presence in the room, that of a woman who had been murdered in the hotel and she wanted him to go to the grave yard across the road to find her grave and give her recognition?. Then a mans surname came over 'Bullock' and all of a sudden the medium was over taken by a spirit. All hell broke loose! Two team members where called in to get him brought forward and it was quite a while before he came round. That was rather frighteneing I can tell you.
At around 3.00am a few of us decided to go into the grave yard to see what we could see.A beautiful church but rather spooky with a low lying mist hovering above the graves. I got a few good orb pics in here but the most strange thing was, is that right around the back of the church we found a grave with the name 'Bullock' on it. May be this woman in room 11 has links with this man who knows.

She said: "I could just feel it coming closer and throwing things at me. I've been on loads of things like this, but it's the first time I've been scared."
Paul Sandbach had to get everyone out, he said I need to calm the spirits down as it was getting too dangerous.
I was disappointed to have missed it, but soon after I was witnessing objects being thrown around. The Ghost Haunted team had organised a mass seance in hangar one.The temperature dropped and several people said they could feel a cold breeze. Soon, several small objects, including stones and a coin, where thrown around the room.
